MAY 2026 BIBLE STUDY
Free Indeed
Healing From Guilt & Shame Through Christ
βIf the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.β
β John 8:36 (KJV)
Study Introduction
Many people silently carry guilt and shame from abuse, rejection, trauma, broken relationships, past mistakes, or words spoken over their lives.
Some were blamed for things that were never their fault.
Some were made to feel unworthy, damaged, or beyond healing.
Others learned to hide their pain behind silence, fear, or survival.
But God never intended for shame to become your identity.
Through this monthβs study, we will explore what Scripture says about freedom, healing, forgiveness, grace, restoration, and renewed identity through Christ.
This is not a study about condemnation.
This is a study about freedom.
You are not what happened to you.
You are not disqualified from healing.
In Christ, you can be free indeed. π

π Closing Encouragement
Healing is a journey.
Some days will feel easier than others.
But every step toward peace matters.
God is not asking you to stay trapped in shame, fear, or emotional bondage.
Freedom is possible.
Healing is possible.
Restoration is possible.
βIf the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.β

ABWM MONTHLY BIBLE STUDY
Introduction: Self-love is an important aspect of our lives as Christians. It is not selfish to love ourselves, but rather it is necessary for us to be able to love others and to fulfill God's purpose for our lives. In this Bible study, we will explore what the Bible says about self-love and how we can learn to love ourselves in a healthy way.
Scripture 1: "Love your neighbor as yourself." - Mark 12:31
Explanation: This scripture shows us that loving ourselves is a prerequisite for loving others. If we don't love ourselves, we won't be able to love others in the way that God intended. We need to learn to love ourselves in order to be able to love others.
Scripture 2: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." - Psalm 139:13
Explanation: This scripture reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. We are unique and special in God's eyes, and we should learn to appreciate and love ourselves just as God loves us.
Scripture 3: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." - Romans 12:2
Explanation: This scripture encourages us to renew our minds and to think differently from the world. We should not compare ourselves to others or try to fit into the world's standards of beauty or success. Instead, we should focus on God's standards and learn to love ourselves just as we are.
Scripture 4: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17
Explanation: This scripture reminds us that we are new creations in Christ. We should not hold onto our past mistakes or failures, but instead, we should embrace the new life that Christ has given us and learn to love ourselves as new creations in Him.
Conclusion: Learning to love ourselves is an ongoing process, but it is an important one. As we learn to love ourselves, we will be able to love others in a more meaningful way and fulfill God's purpose for our lives. Let us remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and that we should learn to love ourselves just as He loves us.
